Over 140 entries of Golden Teddy Bears for the Poster Competition!! It was very hard to choose the winners with so many gorgeous drawings, but here are the judges final results for 2023:
• Pre-School Winner: Annie Lydon
• Hassocks Infants Winner: Evelyn McCormack
• Windmills Junior Winner: Maisie Smith
• Downlands Winner: Lily Smith
• Adult Winner: Helena Lowpetch
• Special Teddy Award: Erin Poat
• Runners-Up: Ivy Woodbridge (Infants); Ella Johnstone & Luna Woodbridge (Windmills); Ruby Armstrong & Laura Hughes (Downlands)

The final poster featuring the winning artwork will be available for just £1 from our Hassocks Goes Gold stall at the Village Market on Saturday 26th August and then from QD Stationery. All proceeds from the poster sales this year will go to help Teddy & the Big C - so make sure you get one to display in your window! All of the beautiful entries will be displayed in the wonderful Parklands Road Street Exhibition during the whole month of September and there is so much more to look forward to as well...

There is still time to sponsor a Giant Gold Bow. The deadline is Saturday 12th August: see www.justgiving.com/page/hgg2023. Plus, we now need your raffle prizes for the ever popular Gold Daily Auction on every day in September. If you can donate something to raise funds, please contact Rachel at: HassocksGoesGold@gmail.com. We’re also planning another Golden Trail Day of Stalls on Sunday 10th September, it’s free to have a stall either in one of the organised locations or outside your house. Contact Rachel to be put on the trail map and keep the date free to bag a bargain!

And, as if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the end of the month Golden Gala Extravaganza on Friday the 29th September at the Hassocks Pub. This is going to be a swift sell-out so get your tickets via the JustGiving site below: www.justgiving.com/page/hgg2023
